i live in cairns queensland australia . I need an approx amount of how much it will cost for laser tattoo removal?? Another thing is i do not know where to go to get this done. How many times will i have to go to get it done? does anyone know if the cream works. If yes which cream and where can i get it from thanks

No creams work. It has been proven many times. I am surprised they are even allowed on the market with all their false claims. You can find laser tattoo removal places all over the place. Be sure they have the right laser for the job..if colored you may need different lasers. Expect hundreds of dollars over a year’s worth of removals…don’t go more than every two months or you will pay even more. They might try to talk you into closer appointments but the longer you wait, the more successful the outcome.

I am trying to get a job with state patrol and of course they don’t like that i have a tattoo on my wrist. My friend who is a nurse told me about her friend who used the removal cream and it worked. The problem is she doesn’t work with that person anymore and doesn’t know the name of the brand that was used. Has the removal cream worked for anyone? And if so, what kind was it?

I think a cream could not remove a tattoo because the ink is under the skin. It might discolor somewhat but I do not believe it will remove it completely like laser removal. I wouldn’t waste my money on over the counter products, I’d go to dermatologist to get their opinion. Good Luck to you.

I plan to get one of those creams to fade 3 tattoos. (2 small & one quite large). So when I go get the laser removal, it’s cheaper & more effective. Luckily they are all black. In the research I’ve done so far, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s the best color to fade out. I’m a mother of 2 kids, no longer rebellious & plan to become a teacher in a few years, so I’m trying to fix a few regrets I have. My life has taken a major turn in the last 10 years. Thank you Justin~ I called Wrecking Balm earlier today, it’s $149.95. Still cheaper than 1 session @ the doc’s with the laser!

Honesty, the only one Ive heard of any success with is Wrecking Balm. Its a cream that supposedly brings the pigment closer to the surface of the skin and comes with a bristle pad type object you have use like its sandpaper removing the top layer of skin and eventually making the tattoo lighter. Anything having to do with removing tattoos however is not cheap and i think a small bottle of this runs for about $80-$100. Honestly I would go to the laser clinic your going to and asking their opinion on the cheapest and most effective way to remove it. good luck!

I’d like to get my tattoo removed (or at least fade it some to make the last resort lazer treatment a bit easier) and have been looking into the Wrecking Balm system that I’ve seen advertised on TV. I would really appreciate it if anyone who has used it could give me some feedback on it. Thanks!

P.S. I’m looking for serious answers from people who have tried the product. I don’t care to hear from people who seem to think I *haven’t* told myself that getting the tattoo was a mistake in the first place, or that there’s no way such a system could work. As stated before, I really only want answers from people who have tried the product.

I have a friend that is in the tattoo removal business. He has run some trials on Wrecking Balm and a few other removal creams to see if he wants to carry the products. He’s found that they just don’t work. Even laser removal sometimes won’t entirely remove the tattoo.

i just have 2 dots. literally just 2 dots on my middle finger. theyre deep tho. they’re around 3 weeks old.

its different depending where you go and where you live..look up places in your area online and they’ll meet with you and tell you the price and how many sessions you’ll probably need..most of the time they meet up with you for free so you should make some appointments at different places..just because you go to them to see the price doesnt mean you HAVE to get it removed there. good luck

I got a small tattoo in the back (my zidiac sign). I think it’s kinda small, but I want to remove it since it’s too visible and I’m thinking about wearing wedding dress in the future. Can anybody tell me how much it costs and does it leave scar there (looks ugly I guess)????

To really remove a tattoo, you are looking at laser or IPL removal. Do not believe the ads about fade creams–they don’t remove the tattoo entirely and are very caustic. Laser removal can run into several thousand dollars, depending on the size and colour saturation of the tattoo. It depends on how many sessions are needed, but based on a friends recent experience in CA it runs about 500 - 750 USD per session.

There may be some scarring but its minor and if your tattoo is small, barely noticeable with the laser method.

There is also IPL removel (Intense Pulsed Light) but the cost of that is much higher. Many people go this route because it is less painful for the skin and the healing time is faster, and the scaring is negligible.

Together it’d cost about 1500-2000$ (maybe 8-10 sessions) to remove. I can afford it with money I saved from work. I don’t know though It’s about a year and a half process. I never got negative comments on them other than they’re "random, but cool", but I have an issue with obsessing over them/tattoo perfects.. I know I’ll never get any more again.

Do you guys think removal will evolve over the next 5-10 years? Perhaps cheaper/quicker? Or has laser technology remained quite the same for a while..

Are they bad? no. but if you don’t like them, that’s up to you. You could get them covered, whereas a few laser sessions could help lighten them and it wouldn’t cost as much as a complete removal.

I have 5 tattoo’s i would like removed, the biggest one is about 2 inches, all small. I don’t care about pain or scarring I just want something that is very effective in removal and cost friendly.
I am looking for something other than the laser as I know that is expensive and I am very sceptical about the creams. I figure if cream works all the harsher surgical procedures would of been long gone out the door. I am looking for something in between the two.

The creams are a waste of time and money…at the most, they lighten the tattoo up somewhat and I really think it is because it messes up the outer layer of skin and you just don’t see it as well.

Laser is the only real option for that many but not cheap and will require many sessions…you could have excision, however, and that is the quickest of all but surgical procedures don’t come cheap, either.

If it were just one small one, some artists do salt water removal but you have too big of a job for that it seems. This is tattooed in, unlike salabrasion where that is rubbed on the skin…no one really does that any more.

Laser removal is the only working tattoo method. It’s very expensive and time consuming, and it will still only mostly fade your tattoo. You should go consult a doctor who does laser removal for how many sessions you’ll need and what kind of results to expect.
