Got a tattoo on my upper-back 3 days ago.

It is the outline of the biohazard symbol in black ink.

I live in the Central Coast of California, near Monterey Bay.

I am looking for answers as to how much Laser Removal would cost into getting my tattoo completely removed.

Again, it is really new, so, if I go within a Month’s time, would it cost less to remove?

The total size is about 3 inches by 3 inches.

Please, serious answers only.
Thank you so much.
Since my tattoo is so new, is there anything I can do besides laser treatment? Thanks

Firstly don’t waste your money on ant creams on the net such as ‘tatt b gone’ because they don’t work. Vaseline isn’t going to draw the colour out either I’m afraid! You have a choice of laser or e-raze.E-raze being the cheaper option. I’m going to start it myself next week. How come you changed your mind in 3 days?

i have two tattoos i want to remove. Ones a square inch, and the other is about 4-6 square inches. I was looking up pricing, some say $35 a square inch and others are up to $75 a square inch. What’s the norm? And does anyone know of any good places in the Riverside are? I don’t wanna just go to some place and get screwed up/screwed over or get an infection.

i live in corona and i’ve seen these places, just give them a call… norco and corona arent far form riverside at all

I have a small tattoo on my lower back about 2 square inches. I want to have this removed. Is the only way to go through laser tattoo removal? wats the price range and wats the result? will i scar? has anyone tried wrecking balm?

The following methods are used to remove tattoos.

They charge about $150~$300 per session.

i want to get some tattoos removed by laser, but i am not sure if it is painful or not, or how much it would cost. See, the tattoos i want to remove are just letters. There is 6 letters on my knuckes which spell "SEC" on my right hand, and "OND" on my left hand. They spell my name in english. I also have MS on my left hand right between my thumb and pointer finger. Any one know where i can go have this done and how much it would cost? I live in the Owatonna, Minnesota area. Any advice would really be helpful. Please serious answers only. I really want to do this so it wont look so bad when i try to get a job. I know some places dont mind, but honestly i regret having it done. But what can i say, I was younger at the time and thought that it was cool. Im older now, and honestly i dont like them anymore. I do have other tattoos, but they get covered up with pants, so im not gonna get those removed. Well, any advice i can get, i would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Complete removal of a tattoo is based on several things. This is based on the size, location, the individual’s ability to heal, how the tattoo was applied and how long it has been in place. Newer tattoos are generally more difficult to remove than old ones.

Tattoo removal is big cosmetic business and as such is not covered by any medical insurance plans. tattoo removal is much more expensive than tattoo placement. Laser tattoo removal can range from several hundred dollars up into the thousands of dollars, depending upon the size, type and location of the tattoo and the number of visits required.

Laser treatment usually does not take more than a few minutes. However, multiple sessions are required to remove most tattoos. The multiple sessions are split over 4-8 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the tattoo

Hope this helps! :)

Many patients travel from United States of America and UK to get low cost of Removal of Tattoos surgery in India. One of the most frequently asked questions when considering Removal of Removal of Tattoos surgery is "how much?" and “what is the price of surgery in India?”

Oftentimes, patients choose their surgeon on the basis of price.
The cost of Removal of Tattoos surgery is very affordable in India and costs are much lower when compared to the United States, UK and other countries. However, since the success of your surgery is largely dependent on your choice of surgeon, cost should not be your main consideration for your decision to undergo Removal of Tattoos surgery in India.

I checked out the website of Forerunners Healthcare –which is the premier most medical tourism company in India offering low cost surgery in India to International Patients. In India, any licensed medical doctor can perform Removal of Tattoos surgery. He should have extensive experience in the procedure you will undergo. That’s when Forerunners Healthcare come into picture-helping you get the best surgeon for your surgery at the most affordable prices in the best Hospitals of India.

Your surgeon’s skill can make all the difference between a good and an average result. Thus, although it is understandable that price is one of the considerations in your choice of surgeon, it is important to remember that the main consideration should be your surgeon’s professional qualifications and experience.

Besides that you should look into other issues related to traveling abroad, which is your visa, passport, climate, cultural issues and language barrier. Although language is not a problem in India –as most of the people are well verse in English. But you should make sure that you have a reliable hand holding person to guide you through the various steps of getting medical treatment and surgery in India.

Hope this helps.

I have a tattoo on the back of my neck. It’s a chinese symbol, it isn’t too old, maybe a year. I want to have it removed. What is the pain level of this procedure? Does it usually take more than one sitting? What are costs? It is a very small, plain, black tattoo, not complicated at all. Thanks!
Yes, I knew it was permanent but it was on a whim and we weren’t thinking about it when we did it. Stupid, I know. Now I kind of regret it and just want to get it removed.

its really only a good option if you want to lighten it enough to get a better cover up, thats what i did. when i went the doctor gave me a local pain killer by needle that was like a bunch of beestings.my tat was 6 by 2 and cost me 700 for one session, but it was lighten enough for a cover up, the healing is the hard part, most unconfortable process

1. how long must you have the tattoo before you can get it removed?
2. it’s all black lettering about 1.5 inches by a half inch, about how much would each session cost and about how many sessions do you think it would take?
3. will the tattoo be completely removed, and will there be scarring? if there is scarring can you use something such as mederma to lighten it?
thanks!

My understanding is:
1) once it is totally healed
2) about $250 each, and multiple sessions
3) you would be left with a scar and/or a slight image

Otherwise, you can get a cover up tattoo for less time and money, and it can be something you want to have, and it will be bigger than the original.
Here’s some very successful cover up tattoos ‘before’ and ‘after’:

luck~

I see a lot of questions about tattoo removal and such, and these poor people get so many negative answers about how they shouldn’t have been so stupid, it’s thier fault, blah blah blah. I have a small tattoo that didn’t turn out how I would have liked, and I plan on lasering it at least a couple of times to get something else, or maybe having it removed completely. So I am impulsive. I know this, and I am okay with it. I am not broken up about it, or the tattoo, its just how I am. Why are anti-tattoo folks so concerned with us and our "mistakes"? Just be cool, and live your life. Don’t you think?

This is an interesting question – I don’t think I’ve seen it before. Kudos!

Well, for folks who are happy with their tats, no matter when, those who hate can only say "you’ll regret it"… rather whiney when you get down to it, kind of like "you’ll poke your eye out!" or "why can’t you date a nice boy?"

But, when one of these whiners finds someone that actually does regret their tat, for whatever reason, all of a sudden they have proof. Proof! See, they were right! Everyone who gets a tat hates them, gets fired from their job & lives on the street. Oh, and doesn’t score with the nurses at the rest home when they’re 80 (hopefully male & female nurses for both sexes there).

It’s not that they’re mad, it’s that they need to shout out loud what’s happened so they can say they have *some* proof. So few actually do that they have to shout *extra* loud, especially when someone like yourself owns up to it & doesn’t try to put the blame on anyone else – colloquially called " being an adult". If the whiners don’t make a lot of noise, it’s noticed that even the relatively few who dislike their tat are not quite the proof they wanted.

It hurts more compared to getting the tattoo because there are several treatments involved usually about 5-8. Plus they have to treat at higher settings for the laser to pick up the continuously fading ink in the tattoo. There are some numbing creams that can help but the best I have had is for them to inject the area with lidocaine before the treatment you can’t feel a thing and then it wears off after about an hour, a percocept can also help. The first 24hours are the worst its all easy after that.

Its really small so it shouldn’t cost much I think. The colors are yelow and black. Its in my crotch area so I know its going to hurt.
Laser removal surgery- forgot to put that in.

Know that it hurts a great deal more to have removed then when initially applied. Also that it is a number of sessions before the actual tattoo is no longer visible. I have also seen in the past not to far past. That there had been some scaring or traces of the old tattoo or ink. Hope this gave you a few more things to consider. Also if its is just the reason the tattoo no longer looking good or fading out it might be a less painful and cheaper to just have it touched up or covered.
