Laser removal is the only working tattoo method. It’s very expensive and time consuming, and it will still only mostly fade your tattoo. You should go consult a doctor who does laser removal for how many sessions you’ll need and what kind of results to expect.

Wrecking Balm (a tattoo removal system) works by making the skin renew and resurface faster, or something like that.
So wouldn’t you assume that it might at least reduce the appearance of stretch marks?

I’ve heard that removal of Black ink tattoos is the most straight forward.

As for appearance, however, I’ve never seen a tattoo that has successfully been completely removed. Most people are left with a blurry blueish area.

It seems to take about 8-10 sessions. Newer, professionally applied tattoos are meant to be much more difficult to remove.

Hi I’m 22 and have a tattoo which I got when I was 17, to cut a long story short I now hate it and want to get it removed and find out that are the best tattoo removal methods? Hey there, this is a really common problem actually so don’t worry about it, the reason why you are hearing so many mixed reviews regarding which is the best tattoo removal is because everyone is different and the truth is that results will vary from person to person depending on a few key pieces of information. It’s hard to say one method or another is the best tattoo removal because they all have their pros and cons. Anyway to get back to what I was saying, a few things to keep in mind when considering which method is best for you (obviously I don’t know your answers to these) is how big is the tattoo? what colours are used and is it all filled in and shaded? Where is the tattoo located.

This might all seem obvious but this is the real reason why most people hear mixed reviews because they try just any method and expect great results without considering these issues. The size has a huge effect, obviously the larger the tattoo is the harder and more expensive it will be to remove,laser surgery for example on a full back piece could cost you close to £15000 and months of treatment where as getting an ex girlfriends name removed will cost much less and take a lot less time. Next it the colours which have been used, again pretty obvious but the darker the tattoo ink, the harder it is too remove or fade. Secondly the lighter the colour it can also be really hard due to the laser (if its laser surgery) finding it hard to breakdown the light pigments.

Lastly the location, to keep it simple, if you have a tattoo or your face or another sensitive part of your body a method like dermabrasion might not be the best idea lol.

I hope this has helped and not just confused you more, I always advise people to start at the bottom and work your way up, try the cheaper alternatives like tattoo removal creams (wrecking balm etc) before jumping in at the deep end with laser tattoo removal and costing yourself thousand when you didn’t need to. From experience the main reason people choose laser tattoo removal is because they think that it is much faster, its not, laser tattoo removal is a series of painful treatments which takes months and has a high risk of leaving permanent scaring, this is another reason why I suggest dermabrasion as its less aggressive, takes around the same time and costs a fraction of the cost. I recently got a feather done on my wrist, i got it done professionally but they didnt ask me for i.d, they didnt mess it up but i’ve come to really hate it. i was looking at laser tattoo removal and it sounds good, and i have the money to do it. i was just wondering if you think they will do it if i am not 18 yet.
