okay.. so, i have this giant outline of a star on my back. It isn’t exactly ugly, but I’m starting to find it obxnious. it just appears to be very ‘punk’ looking… and i’m 24 this year and i have 3 children now. i’m not exactly a punk-chick anymore. so i’ve been looking into laser remover, wrecking bomb, etc. and i’m finding a hard time finding good reviews on this. from what i understand, it hurts… and i’ve seen pictures where i’ve seen a faded tattoo. but i haven’t seen a picture where the tattoo is actually gone. that’s what i’m wondering…. if i use this stuff, will it completely be removed? i’d rather leave the star there if in the end, it will only look faded & cheap… you know what i saying? but if it will eventually go completely away.. do you recommend it?
I’ve used it, but it takes a long time and can be uncomfortable. If I was you I’d save my money for a laser removal.
I have a black outline on the inside of my wrist and was wondering if people could tell me what has worked for them for tattoo removal. Not really looking into laser; something under $250. What about those creams? Wrecking balm? Chemical peals? Scars?
A Laser might be pretty inexpensive for just an outline. The Laser is the only thing that really seems to work well. I would try to find a Doctor in your area to remove it.
I plan to get one of those creams to fade 3 tattoos. (2 small & one quite large). So when I go get the laser removal, it’s cheaper & more effective. Luckily they are all black. In the research I’ve done so far, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s the best color to fade out. I’m a mother of 2 kids, no longer rebellious & plan to become a teacher in a few years, so I’m trying to fix a few regrets I have. My life has taken a major turn in the last 10 years. I appreciate all of your help & I would hope that no one leaves any rude comments. Thank you.
Thank you Justin~ I called Wrecking Balm earlier today, it’s $149.95. Still cheaper than 1 session @ the doc’s with the laser!
Honesty, the only one Ive heard of any success with is Wrecking Balm. Its a cream that supposedly brings the pigment closer to the surface of the skin and comes with a bristle pad type object you have use like its sandpaper removing the top layer of skin and eventually making the tattoo lighter. Anything having to do with removing tattoos however is not cheap and i think a small bottle of this runs for about $80-$100. Honestly I would go to the laser clinic your going to and asking their opinion on the cheapest and most effective way to remove it. good luck!
tattoo removal to get a lot better/cheaper within 10 years?
Hello : )
I’m only 19, a couple tattoos I got last year kind of bother me, they’re pretty random.. (what do you guys think?)
The horse/dots next to nipple, and the lightening bolt/sideways music pulse on my chest..

& this cherry blossom tree..

(what do you guys think of them?)
Together it’d cost about 1500-2000$ (maybe 8-10 sessions) to remove. I can afford it with money I saved from work. I don’t know though It’s about a year and a half process. I never got negative comments on them other than they’re "random, but cool", but I have an issue with obsessing over them/tattoo perfects.. I know I’ll never get any more again.
Do you guys think removal will evolve over the next 5-10 years? Perhaps cheaper/quicker? Or has laser technology remained quite the same for a while..
Thanks a lot for your guys help : )
Are they bad? no. but if you don’t like them, that’s up to you. You could get them covered, whereas a few laser sessions could help lighten them and it wouldn’t cost as much as a complete removal.
okay so i have five and my dad doesnt know about any of them and i want to keep it that way because it would break his heart if he found out (im 17 btw) my real mom signed for them. anyways we decided that im going into the navy and i believe im getting shipped out before august of next year… heres the problem i have one behind my ear and i just found out today navy doesnt allow that at all whatsover, i already tried talking him into the army and he wont budge he wants the navy, most paperwork is already done so theres really no going back okay so thats the problem, my question is whats the absolute easiest way to remove a tatoo, its very very very small behind my ear and i dont really mind pain i just dont really have too much money at all, so i would rather it be cheaper and painful than expensive. i dont care if its cream or lazered or anything i just dont even know where to begin or what to get, i have until the begining of january to get it off… please any help will be greatly appreciated
any help would be awesome, experiences, how much, where to get it, best stuff to use, i just need it to be completely gone
thank you sooo much
wrecking balm is free trail
I have a friend that got a stupid tattoo when he was in prison. He needs to get this removed.Has anyone heard about this wrecking balm, or is he better off doing it professionally? Also, isn’t alot easier to get a jail tattoo removed then a professional because the ink is alot cheaper?
These removal cremes, lotion, and potions simply do not remove tattoos. They are very expensive and they stay in business because people spend hundreds before they simply give up. You friend needs laser, even if only to lighten it enough for a really nice cover up. Prison tattoos generally do come out a bit easier, therefore quicker and less expensive.
If this prison tattoo is at all gang related, many laser places do them for free.
