This is the first session of laser tattoo removal for this particular tattoo. The tattoo is an amateur tattoo more than 10 years old. I estimate it will take somewhere between 3-6 sessions for full removal. The laser tattoo removal was performed using a q-switched 1064nm laser, the fastest and most powerful tattoo removal laser on the market, the C6 Hoya Conbio. A faster laser means that the treatments will not be as painful. A powerful laser means that the removal will take less sessions overall.

This is the first treatment of a professional black tattoo. There is immediate whitening signifying absorption of the laser beam by the pigment in the tattoo. This whitening fades within minutes. Ice is used to cool the area, but no numbing cream. This will take 8 or more treatments to fully remove. The patient is an Asian male, which means we have to be careful about pigmentation changes. The laser used was a qswitched ndyag (1064nm) laser.

This is the second session of laser tattoo removal for this particular tattoo. I have posted the first treatment session as well, so if you browse my videos you will see the first treatment session and be able to compare the first to the second. This is an amateur tattoo in black ink. Even after the first session, there has already been significant fading. Because it’s the second treatment, you don’t see as much whitening of the tattoo. The whitening occurs when there is more ink and the ink is closer to the surface of the skin. He reports some pain (5 out of 10).

This is a 5 month old professional black tattoo. This is the third treatment session. I’ve posted previous sessions as well so you can see the dfference in response to the laser as well as the degree of fading. In this video, you will see that some of the shaded areas are fading quiet nicely. the ink is not as prominent, and the lines are thinner. We used a state of the art q switched 1064 by Hoya Con Bio for this treatment. I estimate 8-10 treatments.
